This is a good black tea and very much like Irish black tea, which I was looking for. It can be made strong or not and is good either way. I particularly like that it tastes this good and is organic as well.I've definitely had better black teas but it's definitely not the worst one I've ever hadI like tea and was raised on sweet tea much of my life. However, I can't handle the caffeine after 4 or 5 in the evening - it keeps me up. So, decaf tea is an excellent choice. I mainly drink ice tea and in the evenings, it will be caffeine free tea. I tried this tea out using 5 bags in my tea maker. The color looked good - nice and bronze or copper colored. Like all decaf products, this wasn't as good tasting or full bodied as its normal, caffeinated tea, but it was good. It still had good tea flavor. I didn't make it sweet tea, so I could taste it better too. Overall, I am a fan of it and like it.Review of Organic Black Decaf:I like to have a hot cuppa after dinner & a square of dark organic chocolate to nibble at with each sip. Organic decaf black tea is it for me in the evening. Either that or a cuppa homemade organic hot cocoa (no square of chocolate needed).This tea fills my evening craving. Note, it's not a full bodied black. When I want really black, thick tea, I go for organic puerh in the morning. I brew that thick & dark. You'd think it's coffee. Still though, this is very convenient. No staples or tags on the square tea bags. No silly plastic pyramid "sachets". Just little tea bag pillows of tea & plenty of them; there are 100 per bag.This tastes lovely with a teaspoon of organic sugar cane & a little organic Barista Oatsome oat milk (no gums) as I lost my ability to digest dairy.The source of the tea isn't super clear other than it's from "...the core tea-producing areas of China." At least it's USDA Certified Organic, Rainforest Alliance, & Non GMO Verified (this is redundant as organic already is non gmo).If you are a big iced tea drinker, I think this tea would make a lovely cold brew.I really like this tea. I drink a lot of tea, especially for bedtime, but like to avoid caffeine as much as possible unless it’s early in the morning. I also like that these are small baggies with no extras on it. It’s less waste and you get a lot of them in one package. The flavor and color are really nice and since it’s decaf, I can mix it with other flavors without worrying about even more caffeine in those cups. I personally love mixing fruity teas with black and green tea and this one works really well for that.I am enjoying this decaf black tea. I've tried it hot a couple of times and it was pretty good, but my favorite way to drink it is to brew it and then pour it over ice with a bit of sweetener and lemon. It is refreshing, full of flavor, and doesn't have any bitterness. It has a nice strong flavor. Tea bags are well made and I've not had any issues with any tea leaves leaking or escaping the base during brewing. I love they come in a larger bulk bag that is easily closed with the zipper top. I know that it is an organic black tea but as far as value when I compare it to other brands I have access to it seems a bit pricey but really if I break it down per cup that is only $.18 per cup so not that bad if you think of it that way.I got these for my morning tea, they taste good. The bags are neat and small, they are free of any tags or strings you you can just drop them in a cup to steep, personally I use one of those strainer/squeezers for these tea packets. You get a lot in the 100 pack so I would say it’s a great deal.I’m enjoying this tea. Usually decaf teas are not great, but this one tastes to me like regular caffeinated black tea. You must let it seep for a few minutes to get the tea infused into the water! This will last me awhile but would get again when I run out.
